Is not an approved MS treatment (yet?), but researchers tested bavisant in laboratory and animal models of MS and found signs that it may be able to both help the body rebuild or repair damaged myelin and protect the nerve from further damage. WHAT?!!!

These findings are still pre clinical, meaning researchers still have to determine whether the same benefits can safely happen in human beings with MS.
