I just read a post by Christina Applegate, about the difficulties of MS.

It made me think, “You don’t get it until you get it”, is a very true statement. A friend of ours who is very healthy and an avid cyclist, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. *He thought the pain in his knee must be from not having his pedals mounted correctly).

What he is going through and how cancer has affected his life, is quite a pill to swallow, (so to say).

I lost another friend coincidentally, while on a bike ride. She had Brady Cardia (a very low heart rate). She and her husband recently decided she should have a pace maker put in, to help keep her heart rate regular. She experienced cardiac arrest on her bike ride.

Our friend with cancer, has a daughter who was just diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.

Life does not come with any guarantees. You do not know what is in your forecast. All you can do is be the best you can be, do what you think is best, have faith and keep on keepin’ on!

Best of luck to all of us! Push on, stay strong!
