Your thoughts aren’t stuck in misery land. You’re just tuned to the wrong station.

Have you ever noticed that on the days everything feels hard, more hard things keep showing up? Your coffee spills. You get a hole in your favorite top. Someone says something that just ticks you right off. And you think – why is everything against me today?

It’s not conspiracy. It’s resonance. Here’s what’s actually happening beneath the surface. Every thought you think triggers a chemical cascade in your body. That chemistry creates a feeling.

That feeling has a frequency – basically, it changes how you show up, what you notice, and how you respond. And that frequency is broadcasting – like a signal – out into every interaction, every moment, every experience you’re moving through.

You tend to notice and reinforce what matches the state you’re in. The law of attraction is the “what” – Like attracts like . The law of resonance is the “why”. -Like attracts like because the frequency you’re emitting matches the BS you keep bumping into.

If you’re tuned to fear, scarcity, or frustration – the universe just keeps handing you more of the same things that match that feeling. Bur here’s where it gets interesting. Gratitude isn’t just a nice thing to feel when life goes your way. Appreciation is a tuning mechanism. When you find something – anything – to be genuinely grateful for, you shift your frequency. Not metaphorically. Literally.

When your frequency shifts, what you notice also shifts. What you attract shifts. What shows up shifts.

The tiniest thing counts. The warmth of your coffee cup, the fact that your lungs just breathed without you asking them to. A song that came on at exactly the right moment.

Fun Fact: Your brain has a built-in filtering system called The Reticular Activating System-The RAS. It decides on what your conscious mind actually sees out of the millions of bits of information coming at you every second. Here’s the wild part: it filters based on what you’re already focused on.

Gratitude trains your RAS to find more to be grateful for. The universe isn’t suddenly sending you more good things. Your brain is finally letting them through. Science and frequency, arriving at the same truth from different directions.

What if you didn’t wait for something big to feel grateful, to find appreciation. What if three tiny things-right now, exactly as your life is – were enough to start tuning the signal? It’s worth a shot! You’ve got nothing to lose – and a lot more peace to gain.
