Involves managing chronic watery diarrhea and urgency through dietary changes (low-fat, low fiber, avoiding triggers like caffine, alcohol and lactose). Taking medications like budasonide to control symptoms, as it’s often a lifelong condition affecting quality of life, but can be managed for remission with doctor’s guidance. Key strategies include staying hydrated with electrolytes, eating small meals of soft foods (bananas, rice), avoiding trigger foods and seeking treatment for flares.
I currently have finished my dosage of budasonide with success, and am trying one tablet every other day – to see if I can remain symptom free this way.
