Well, I got through the prep for my colonoscopy just fine. The colonoscopy went fine too, I enjoyed my nap during the procedure. Bob took me to dinner on the way home, which was great because I was quite hungry. We watched the Presidential address to Congress before going to bed. I woke once during the night, needing to go to the bathroom. I had to wake Bob up, because I couldn’t move my legs very well. My MS symptoms were exacerbated. I slept uncomfortably the rest of the night. When I awoke in the morning, I was better than I was earlier but my MS symptoms were noticeable. I guess my procedure was more stressful on my body than I had anticipated. I’m pretty confident that I’ll get back to my normal. Right now, I feel pretty tired and think I’ll take a nap.
Phew….
I was pretty confident that I would get better, but with this disease there is always a chance of progression, so that’s always in the back of my mind. But today I woke up (after an eleven hour slumber) feeling good!
Though it’s a nice winter day outside and I am tempted to ride my tricycle, I think I won’t push it and will only do less stressful tasks today.
