Unfortunately, pain often accompanies multiple sclerosis. Neuropathic pain can cause burning , squeezing or stabbing pain sensations. This occurs from nerve damage.
Musculoskeletal pain occurs due to muscle weakness, stiffness , or issues with coordination due to interruptions in nerve signals.
Joint pain associated with MS is usually more severe around the hips and back, as well as the legs. Posture, flexibility, balance and energy play important roles in joint pain.
I may take 2 ibuprofen before going to bed tonight, to see if that helps . I’ve been waking up very early morning, with pain in my back, and have trouble getting back to sleep.
Oh my, I slept so well! I only woke up at 6 am because I had to go to the bathroom.
