My best friend’s daughter was just diagnosed with MS.

My husband and I were visiting our best friends, Jeff and Kathy at their winter home inArizona. Their daughter, Lauren is a pet groomer and called to tell her mom she could not see out of one of her eyes. She assumed it was maybe pet hair that had gotten in her eye and she was reacting to it.

When Bob and I got home the following day, Kathy called to tell us that Lauren was driving home, her vision was bad and

all of a sudden she wasn’t functioning properly and felt she couldn’t safely drive. She managed to pull over. She called 911, the police picked her up and took her to the hospital.

After a brain MRI, they diagnosed her with MS. She is still in the hospital, undergoing a 5-day intravenous steroid treatment. I believe it is solu-me drool, which is the first treatment I underwent 34+ years ago, followed by a Prednisone taper. (Deja vu) I called Lauren to tell her to stay strong, stay positive and push on!
