Colostrum

A new study from Germany suggests that breast feeding may reduce the risk of multiple sclerosis and that breast feeding for more than four months provided a significant protection against the development of MS.

Studies now show the increased risk for health problems in adults who were not breast-fed as babies. They also show the health benefits of supplementing colostrum for immune deficiency, inflammatory problems, auto-immune conditions, and types of cancer. Colostrum also helps build resistance against infections such as the cold and flu.

I also read that it speeds tissue healing, Could it perhaps help our myelin sheath? Colostrum falls into my,”if it can’t hurt and might help, I’ll try it” category of things I’m trying. I know I tried colostrum in the past and don’t remember why I stopped. I’m trying it again and will keep you posted on anything I see.
