The fact is, it doesn’t get easier.
You just get stronger. It never occurred to me, that one day I would wake up sick, and never recover. But if you know me, you know I’m out there fighting to do all I can!

When life throws you off beat,
Create your own rhythm and dance anyway.

The secret to being happy is
Accepting where you are in life and making the most out of every day.

My husband jokes,
That maybe I should go outside with a lightning rod on my head during the next thunderstorm. It’s possible that a strike by lightening could be a good re-set for my messed up nervous system.

In case you have colitis too, like I do
Difficulty urinating can occur with colitis due to the close proximity of the bladder and colon nerves, meaning inflammation in the colon (from colitis) can sometimes affect bladder function, leading to symptoms like urinary urgency, frequent urination, pain while urinating or trouble starting urination. This is referred to as cross-organ sensation.

You have a choice every day.
I choose to feel blessed. I choose to feel grateful. I choose to be excited. I choose to be thankful. I choose to be happy.

Sometimes life will test you,
But remember this: When you walk up a mountain, your legs get stronger.
