Healthy lifestyle changes such as regular exercise, a balanced diet, quitting smoking, and sufficient sleep may help manage symptoms and potentially slow progression.

I used to designate a day for housecleaning.
Now, I designate a day to dust, a day to sweep and mop, a day to vacuum, a day to clean bathrooms, a day to do laundry, a day to grocery shop. Everything gets done, just not all at once.

For me – the key is to find happiness in what I am capable of, to appreciate it, and to be thankful for it.
Unlike someone who gets sick but knows in time they will feel better, someone with MS wakes up feeling unwell, knowing this is how they will feel for the rest of their life. (If not worse, because of disease progression). A tough pill to swallow, but a reason to live life to the fullest!
